ATTENTION!
To ensure the correct fabrication of the housing for Ziacom® TiBases across the different systems of the brand, the use of 0.3 mm diameter ball-end milling burs is essential. The use of this bur guarantees proper milling and the subsequent correct seating of the Ziacom® TiBase within its corresponding housing.

In the event that this Ø 0.3 mm ball-end bur is not used, the manufacturing result may lead to:

Cracks and Fractures in the Milled Material

· Cracks: A milling strategy using larger-diameter burs removes more material than recommended from the walls of the housing, causing weakening of its lower area. As a consequence, the walls may not meet the minimum required material thickness, resulting in the formation of cracks and microcracks in the material.

· Fractures: Another consequence arising from the previous issue is the formation of fractures in the lower area of the housing due to the lack of the minimum required material thickness.

Fit of the Restoration on the Ziacom® TiBase
The Ziacom® TiBase housing has been designed to provide precise fit and positioning. Failure to use a Ø 0.3 mm ball-end bur will result in a different geometry being milled in the anti-rotational housing of the Ziacom® TiBase, causing the restoration not to seat correctly on the Ziacom® TiBase.
