This Privacy Policy complies with Law 3/2018 of 5 December and European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. It sets out our information practices and the various options available to you regarding the collection and use of your personal data.

With regard to any information we collect via our websites, as stated in the section on the data controller, Ziacom Medical Group, S.L. will be the data controller, except in cases where information is collected in respect of which any of the companies within the Ziacom Group acts as a data processor.
At Ziacom Medical Group S.L., Ziacor CAD CAM, S.L. and Biostar Laboratorios, S.L., we process the information provided to us by data subjects for one or more of the following purposes:

Activities for informational purposes may include subscribing to newsletters, attending information events and similar activities. In the case of training activities, these may involve attending training events on innovative products of interest to the professional community, whether in person, online or delivered via other means. As for product promotions, these may vary depending on the nature of the product itself, taking the form of discounts based on product type, purchase volume, new releases, special offers, etc.
Furthermore, in the case of job applicants to Ziacom Medical Group S.L., the purpose will be staff recruitment. This purpose includes the collection of CVs, their assessment, the management of interviews and, where applicable, the formalisation of the employment relationship.
The personal data provided will be retained for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Therefore, in the context of our professional relationship, your data will be retained for the duration of our contractual relationship and/or until you request to be removed from the service at any time should you no longer wish to participate in it.

If you have signed up for any of our marketing campaigns, you may unsubscribe at any time by using the ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ link included in every marketing communication. You may also object to receiving marketing communications by emailing info@ziacom.com to request unsubscription. Your request will be processed within approximately 72 hours; therefore, during this time you may receive some marketing communications.
In the case of CVs we have received, we will retain them indefinitely, unless otherwise indicated by the data subject, so that we may refer to them should we require candidates.
It may be the case that, in order to comply with legal obligations, we have to retain your data for a period exceeding the duration of the purpose for which it was provided. In such cases, the data will be blocked until it can be completely deleted.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is the performance of the contract or commercial agreement entered into between the parties. Notwithstanding the fact that the legal basis for sending product updates, industry news, invitations to events and seminars, and communications regarding trade fairs and conferences may be based on the specific consent you provided at the time your data was collected, the withdrawal of this consent shall in no circumstances affect the performance of the agreement between the parties.
In order to carry out the commercial purposes indicated above, we will, where necessary, request your free and unambiguous consent, whether these campaigns are aimed at providing information, training, product promotion or other purposes.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in recruitment processes will be based on the free and unambiguous consent provided by the candidate when they submit their Curriculum Vitae to us.
The disclosure of your personal data is limited to the purposes of our business relationship with Ziacom Medical Group S.L. Where we transfer data, data processor agreements are entered into with third parties outside Ziacom Medical Group S.L. involved in such tasks, and these third parties undertake to respect the privacy of your data and to protect it in accordance with the technical, organisational and security measures established by Ziacom Medical Group S.L.
These service providers include advisers, consultants, auditors, IT maintenance providers and the hosting and email provider, as well as group companies.
Your personal data may also be disclosed in order to comply with legal obligations.

The Ziacom Group’s websites are not intended for children under the age of 13 under any circumstances. Any personal information inadvertently collected from a child will be deleted immediately. This does not apply to medical information about children that may be provided by healthcare professionals in connection with a request for information about a product or service, for which those professionals are the data controllers. In the unlikely event that users under the age of 18 need to submit personal information, this must be submitted or authorised by their legal representatives (for example, their parents), whom we would contact to confirm that the child’s use of the website is with the consent of an adult.
