The new Ziacom surgical boxes have been designed to support the work of surgeons in the operating theatre. To do this, we have taken particular care to ensure that they are simple to use, laid out in an organised way and, above all, promote safe and efficient work.

Thanks to the characteristics of this new design, surgical procedure times are shortened as much as possible, which is beneficial for both the surgeon and the patient. If the surgeon spends less time on a single procedure, the patient’s bone is exposed only as much as necessary, thus reducing the possibility of infection and helping speed up the osseointegration process.

Order and simplicity as maximum priorities

In any surgical procedure, the aim is to create order, effectiveness and safety. That is why our new boxes are:

  • Functional. The platform colours are clearer than they used to be, as is the separation of the instruments.
  • Intuitive. The structure of the box and the proper procedure for using the drills inside it are very easy to understand at just a glance. The perforation sequence follows a logical and visual order that increases confidence and safety during the procedure. Simple arrows indicate the order in which each instrument should be used, meaning that the box reads like a book, from left to right and from top to bottom.
  • Accessible and user-friendly. The boxes can be opened with one finger and in a single movement, meaning that the sterilisation of the product is not diminished. Moreover, once they are opened, they move upwards, which increases the field of vision and makes the drills much more accessible and visible.
  • Simpler and safer. The instruments are arranged intuitively and simply to facilitate their use and reduce the risk of common errors in procedures.
  • Easy to sterilise. The new surgical boxes can be sterilised on the platform itself, whose removal is very simple.

As a bonus, in all boxes we have included a range of drill stops, making them a versatile and extremely useful tool for all types of clinical situations. These stops have also been designed so that they can be positioned in the easiest possible way, maintaining a streamlined procedure.
