What are the benefits of Titansure Active in implant treatments?
The Titansure Active surface improves bone remodelling, makes it of higher quality and reduces implant integration times. At the same time, it reduces possible complications that may occur in the peri-implant tissue when the implant is already placed.
What is it like working with Ziacom products in daily clinical practice?
I have had the luck to use several Ziacom products, specifically Galaxy, Zinic, and the biomaterials and membranes, and the truth is that since the beginning you feel extremely comfortable using them because their handling is highly satisfactory for the clinician.
Afterwards, the satisfaction is twofold because the results obtained once the implant or biomaterial is integrated are excellent in terms of osseointegration, both of grafts and implants, thanks to the surface and the design of the implants.
We use a lot of Ziacom Galaxy, which is an internal conical connection that allows us to work with a concept called One Abutment-One Time, thanks to the Basic Abutment, in which we do not touch the implant head until the moment of the surgery.
When the tissue has healed, we work at the level of the Basic abutment, which is already a soft tissue level. We never go to the bone crest, so the bone loss produced by these implants is really minimal and we have great results in the medium and long term due to the change of platform and the One Abutment-One Time, that we are currently using thanks to the Galaxy implant by Ziacom.
