Terms and conditions of orders placed for Spain and Portugal.

ORDERING

Ordering channels

The following sales channels are available for the purchase of Ziacom products:

Delivery times

  • Delivery times for Mainland Spain, Balearic and Canary Islands*:
    • Orders placed within the customer service hours (from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 18:00 and Fridays from 8:30 to 15:00) will be delivered by courier on the next working day after placing the order before 19:00 by standard delivery service.
    • Orders placed outside the customer service hours indicated above will be delivered by courier on the second working day after placing the order before 19:00 by standard delivery service.
  • Delivery times for Portugal and the online store:
    • Orders placed from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 17:30 and Fridays from 8:30 to 13:30 will be delivered by courier on the next working day after placing the order before 19:00 by standard delivery service.
    • Orders placed outside the hours indicated above will be delivered by courier on the second working day after placing the order before 19:00 by standard delivery service.

* Deliveries to the Canary Islands may be subject to possible delays due to customs procedures.

Delivery costs

Orders placed by telephone, email or through a sales representative:

  • Mainland Spain, Balearic Islands and Portugal:
    • For orders of €180 or under (before tax) the delivery charge will be €6 + VAT.
    • For orders above €180 (before tax) there will be no delivery charge.
  • Canary Islands*:
    • For orders of €240 or under the delivery charge will be €18 (customs expenses not included).
    • For orders above €240 there will be no delivery charge (all customs expenses for these shipments will be paid by Ziacom Medical S.L.).
  • Madeira and Azores:
    • For orders of €300 or under the delivery charge will be €15 (customs expenses not included).
    • For orders above €300 there will be no delivery charge (customs expenses not included).

Online orders:

  • Mainland Spain, Balearic Islands and Portugal:
    • For orders of €200 or under (VAT included) the delivery charge will be €6 + VAT.
    • For orders above €200 (VAT included) there will be no delivery charge.
  • Canary Islands*:
    • For orders of €150 or under the delivery charge will be €18 (customs expenses not included).
    • For orders above €150 there will be no delivery charge (customs expenses not included).
  • Madeira and Azores:
    • For orders of €300 or under the delivery charge will be €15 (customs expenses not included).
    • For orders above €300 there will be no delivery charge (customs expenses not included).

* Deliveries to the Canary Islands can only be made to tax addresses in the Canary Islands. Likewise, tax addresses located in the Canary Islands may only receive orders when the delivery address is in the Canary Islands.

Delivery note

With each shipment, the customer will receive a delivery note that will include the order associated with the shipment, the details of the products sent and their batch or serial number.

In the case of partial deliveries, the number of delivery notes associated with the order will be equal to the number of product shipments made.

Special delivery services (not available for online orders)

Special delivery services are only available for orders for mainland Spain, Balearic Islands and Portugal and must be requested by the customer at the time of placing the order:

  • Special 10-hour service:
    • Latest delivery is the day after placing the order before 10:00.
    • Cost: €15 + VAT (check available locations on our customer service line at 91 723 33 06 or at pedidos@ziacom.com ).
  • Special 12-hour service:
    • Latest delivery is the day after placing the order before 12:00.
    • Cost: €12 + VAT (check available locations on our customer service line at +34 91 723 33 06or at pedidos@ziacom.com ).

PAYMENT METHODS

Orders placed by telephone, email or through a sales representative

Payment methods

The following payment methods are available: transfer, direct debit (download the SEPA B2B direct debit document), cheque or credit/debit card.

To request payment by direct debit, the SEPA B2B direct debit document must be completed and signed.

Invoicing

  • For advance payments (transfers in advance, credit/debit card or cash on delivery) and shipments to the Canary Islands: for each order placed the customer will receive an invoice with the associated delivery note number or numbers.
  • For deferred payments (direct debit, transfer upon receipt of the invoice and cheque):
    • The customer will receive a monthly invoice for the total amount of all orders placed and delivered during the month and with all the delivery note numbers associated to said orders.
    • The invoice will be issued on the last day of the month and must be paid by the 25th day of the month following the date of the issued invoice.
    • These invoices may be paid by direct debit, by transfer performed by the customer or by cheque.
    • It is possible to pay invoices in instalments for amounts above €2,500 (VAT included). Check with the administration department for conditions.
    • In the case of direct debit, all expenses derived from payments rejected by the bank will be payable by the customer, as well as any administration expenses incurred by Ziacom Medical S.L. (fixed fee of 3% of the rejected payment + €18 for administration expenses).
    • A request must be submitted to the administration department to make deferred payments, which must be approved by the risk department within the 10 days following the date of issue of the invoice.

Online orders

Payment methods

For orders placed through the online store shop.ziacom.com, payment is only available by credit or debit card.

Invoicing

For each order placed and paid through the online store, the system will issue the corresponding invoice for the order. This invoice will be sent by email to the customer and it will also be available in the customer area of the online store.

RETURNS

General conditions for the return of a Ziacom product

Customers can return any Ziacom product within a maximum period of 90 days from the issuance of the purchase invoice, as long as the following conditions are met:

  • The product must appear as available in the current Ziacom Medical catalogue. Returns of discontinued products will not be allowed.
  • Returns will always be made in favour of the customer named on the goods invoice.
  • Returns of products sold through offers or sales promotions will not be accepted if the complete order is not returned, as purchased.
  • Returns of products or materials invoiced or sent at zero cost, through 100% discounts or free of charge, will not be allowed.
  • The material must be sent in its original packaging and be protected to avoid damage during shipping.
  • Returns of material that is not in perfect condition will not be accepted: material that has been opened, handled, used or is damaged or altered from its original packaging.

Procedure for the return of a Ziacom product

To return a Ziacom product:

  • Contact the Ziacom Medical S.L. Customer Service team and specify the material you wish to return, the references and the batch number of each product.
  • You will be issued a return number by the Customer Service team, which must be attached to the material you wish to return along with your information.
  • You must then send the material to our facilities or request their collection by Ziacom Medical S.L. All courier expenses will be payable by the customer.
  • The return and refund of the amount will be performed once the material has been received at the facilities of Ziacom Medical S.L. and once the quality department has verified that the product meets all the requirements for its return.
  • The refund for the returned material will be carried out through the same payment method used to place the order.
  • In the case of direct debits, any returns received at the facilities of Ziacom Medical S.L. before the 21st day of each month will be processed and paid in the current month’s invoice. Returns received after the 21st will be paid in the invoice of the following month.
  • For all other payment methods, the refund for the returned material will be paid within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of issue of the invoice.

IMPORTANT

  • Ziacom Medical S.L. will not be responsible for any damage, loss, hold-up, delay or failure in the shipments of materials caused by the transportation companies, third parties or causes beyond the control of Ziacom Medical S.L.
  • Any damage, loss or delay of the material sent will not be a reason to increase the obligations of Ziacom Medical S.L. However, Ziacom Medical S.L. will adopt the appropriate measures to resolve the damage, loss or delay quickly and fairly with customers, whenever this is possible.
  • All material shipments take place at the customer’s risk and expense. Ziacom Medical S.L. does not include any insurance in the transportation or shipping of the material.
  • Ziacom Medical S.L. reserves the right to modify or change the terms and conditions without prior notice. These conditions annul all previous conditions.
  • Ziacom Medical S.L. is not responsible for possible typographical errors.
  • After receiving the order, the customer has 48 hours to report any possible service incidents.
